Laurel's Priorities as Colorado's Republican National Committeewoman:
Make The RNC Great Again!
For too long we have had the same leadership and direction at the Republican National Committee. This leadership has time and again promised victory and change in the direction of our policy yet we have seen failure after failure. It is time for new leadership with a back bone at the RNC and I am asking for you to let me be that change. Let's start winning and change the course of our future in America!
Election Integrity
After the results of the 2020 election, there were questions on if the election was fraudulent. Laurel will work to promote policy at the RNC that will focus on removing automated voting systems and going back to paper ballots, as well as legal ballot harvesting and vote banking operations. Laurel will also work to ensure the RNC advocates that we require an ID to vote in all 50 states and territories. We must restore faith in our electoral system!
Human Trafficking & Border Security
Human Trafficking & Border Security are two of the most important issues facing our country today. Laurel believes in completing the wall on our southern border. As well as stopping the flow of illegal immigrants, and human trafficking into our country. President Trump was the border security President, and Laurel intends to ensure that legacy perseveres during her term on the Republican National Committee.
Increase Grassroots Participation
Our party has neglected the grassroots for far to long.
We must educate Republicans in the caucus and assembly process in order to boost involvement in the party. As RNC Members we must be a conduit between party officials and the grassroots, we are the emissaries of the national party and it is time we act like it. As a leader it is important to remember that we must empower every individual to take a stand in local politics.
Engage Younger Voters
We must Increase awareness of the Republican brand to GenZ and Millennials using social media. Our messaging has been lacking for far to long. Alongside these efforts we must Partner with outside youth organizations in order to gain participation through events and activities across the country. At the same time it is important to Reward the hard work and dedication of the next generation in order to keep them engaged. The RNC Youth Advisory Council is a good start but is not enough.
Education
Education is a big issue for Laurel. Laurel is a homeschool mom herself and has worked in the education field. Laurel is a proud proponent of school choice. Laurel also believes in parental rights when it comes to your children. She will work to ensure the RNC stands against Grooming of our children and will work to eliminate the 1619 project and focus on less political indoctrination in our nations schools.
Economic Growth
Under President Trump we saw the strongest and best economy in US History and Laurel will work with the RNC to elect candidates that will be committed to making that achievement again. Laurel will support America First policies to encourage growth in our nation, including small business. She will also work with law makers across the country to encourage fiscal reform and responsibility.
Oil and Gas
Laurel is a proud supporter of the Oil and Gas industry. Laurel supports the completion of the Keystone Excel Pipeline. She also is a proud supporter of fracking, and will work with the RNC and candidates to restore drilling rights to companies on federal property. She will actively promote candidates that want to deregulate the industry in order to provide them flexibility.
Limited Government
Laurel is a believer in Limited Government. She will support and defend our constitution above all enemies foreign and domestic and will work to impose term limits on members of congress who have made serving in the government their career. Laurel will work to actively limit the burden of government on the people of this great country. Laurel is running to ensure the RNC works to return the power to you, the citizens of our great country.
The 2nd Ammendment
As a gun owner, Laurel will never stop fighting to protect our Second Amendment rights to keep and bear arms. Laurel will never vote for any resolution that wishes to infringe on your ability to own or carry a weapon. Laurel is a strong believer that guns don't kill people, people kill people and that the gun violence we see across the country stems from the mental health crisis we are currently suffering across the country.
Pro Life
Laurel is a pro life woman. In 2020, She coined the term "All Lives Matter, from the Womb to the Tomb." Laurel will advocate to make adoption more accessible to perspective parents and will advocate for the defunding of Planned Parenthood and abortions.
Cancel, Cancel Culture
Cancel Culture is a very dangerous weapon being used and manipulated by the left. We must do everything we can to stop this harmful tool. Laurel will work with Law Makers on the hill to advocate for the repeal of Section 230 in order to remove protections from woke social media platforms, so that they can no longer silence opinions they dislike. Laurel will also fight in the public arena against the woke cancelation of public figures.
